4th of July

Tracee & I experienced our first American Independance Day celebration in the birthplace of American Independance - Massachusetts. We are staying with friends Neil & Karen in Wakefield (Boston). Karen baked a cake in the shape of the USA with our proposed Harley route traced out in icing!

We attended the largest street parade in Massachusetts and experienced just how strong the patriotism and importance of the date is to Americans (after all - they did kick the Poms out!).

This evening we saw an amazing fireworks display over Lake Quannapowitt.

It is very warm here with 37 degrees today. More high temperatures are predicted over the next few days - with an increase in humidity.
